This project is a farmhouse located in Stewartville, MN.  This is the couple's forever home, so they wanted it to be clean and sophisticated, as well as functional in all stages of life.  They did not want it to be like the typical modern farmhouse trend.  So, we created a soft neutral color palette that could transition with age and design styles throughout their lifespan.  We added humor into the artwork, functional shelving units for ornamental value and product storage, classic subway tile with subtle pattern and texture behind north facing wall (stove) and south facing wall (coffee nook), sleek lighting with mixed metals, and custom Quartz countertops.  Welcome to this updated Transitional kitchen!
